What foods are tourists allowed to bring into Mexico (since changes of Sept. 26, 2006)? - mexican tourist board

Last year, when my husband and I vacation there, you can use canned tuna, fruit, etc. Last year, food is forbidden to put chicken and dairy products (and, of course) fruits and vegetables. The rules have changed? I have tried to places of interest such as the Office of Tourism of Mexico ", etc. to find, but can not find anything.

You can use the property in the most cans have the power to ensure the tuna and vegetables.

However, most of the brands you may want available at Wal-Mart de Mexico, or Superama. Even in the shops.

Fruits, vegetables and seeds are always prohibited.

If a product is contained or the spinach, lettuce and carrots derived (all this is only happening in the United States) are also prohibited. Egg salad two are still banned.

For more information and safer (as this is a question that the immigration authorities could provide the entry into their country to refuse), or contact the nearest consulate of Mexico.
